Professional Development > Conferences > National
Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour Key note speaker Mark Bouris who is well known for founding Wizard Home Loans and now hosting the TV Show “The Apprentice” is opening the Conference on 22 October 2010. Winter Olympic Medallist Steven Bradbury is also a key note speaker giving some aspirational talk about motivation on Day two. In contrast to the 2008 Conference the sessions at this year’s Convention will be held parallel to allow managers to better focus on their personal field of interest. There will be governance sessions that aim to enhance personal presentation skills of managers to optimise their communication towards their clients. Another set of sessions will focus on the growth opportunities of the national property market, the upcoming national licensing unification as announced by COAG and property law reforms. The second Conference day is centering around risk management in strata, the emissions trading scheme implementation and fair work agreements. The Conference will be closed by professional conference speaker Paul Martell who will prepare the audience for a night out at Luna Park, Sydney. A principal’s forum for strata managers will specifically debate the unification project under NCTI’s umbrella so don’t miss out on that opportunity. Social Program: Thursday, 21 October 2010 - Convention Golf Day at St Michaels Golf Course Friday, 22 October 2010 - Friday Night Cocktails with the Exhibitors Saturday, 23 October 2010 - Formal Dinner at the Big Top at Luna Park Further details are available at www.ncti.org.au/conference_2010.html |
